(supta baddha konasana)
Lie down upon a few blankets or pillows as shown in above picture. This opens the diaphragm and elevates the brain above the heart.
Breathe through your mouth and nose into your bottom ribs.
The breath should be in and out like the rhythm of the ocean, deep and effortless.
Spend sometime exploring different locations to send the breath. The right side ribs, left side ribs, belly button, pubic bone, right pelvis, left pelvis.
Use muscles of your ribs to open your chest … then breath into your open chest.
Breathe into your upper chest so that your throat muscles slightly engage.
Continue for 5 – 15 minutes.
